Psalms 28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and he helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise him.
Nehemiah 8:10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”
Let the joy that God gives strengthen you. I wont even lie to y’all. when things in my life go wrong the first thing I do is focus solely on what’s going WRONG as opposed to what is right/has the potential to be corrected. The first thing that’s effected is my overall disposition: the absence of joy is evident all over my face and clear in my body language. Things so wrong. That’s life. Things can go terribly wrong forever and ever but the most important thing I’ve learned in this walk is that 1. There is so much power in the joy of the Lord
2. Every battle you’re facing God has already won. It’s up to you to claim it.
3. If the joy of the Lord is my strength, it’s easy to see why the enemy would try to steal that first, don’t you think?
Stay encouraged, y’all. Stay completely submerged in God. You’ve got all you need there.
